Aska Overlook from above at dusk, with its decks, the fire pit and the waterfall

Mountain views, a waterfall, and room for nine.

A newly renovated three-level lodge in the Aska area of Blue Ridge, Georgia. Downtown is five minutes away once you're down the mountain.

Sleeps 9 in three bedrooms and a bunk nook, with three full baths. The hot tub is drained and refilled for every stay. Fiber Wi-Fi throughout, and a whole-home generator for mountain storms.

Newly renovated, high above Blue Ridge

Step inside and a wall of windows frames long-range mountain views under a vaulted pine ceiling, with stacked-stone fireplaces on two levels.

Step outside and nearly two wooded acres open up around you: a waterfall, a fire pit, a hot tub, and decks set with new POLYWOOD furniture. Across the road there's nothing but Chattahoochee National Forest, and the road is paved all the way to the driveway, so any car can make it up.

Three levels, stepping down the mountain

Each level has its own place to gather and its own view. Here's what's on each, and who sleeps where.

  1. Upper level

    Sleeps 2

The primary suite: a king bed with a live-edge frame under the vaulted pine ceiling, sage-green walls, and robes for the hot tub.

Its en suite bath has double copper sinks, a soaking tub under the window and a separate walk-in shower. A loft desk overlooks the great room for a call or a few emails.

  2. Main level

    Sleeps 2

The great room, kitchen and dining room all face the view. There's a granite breakfast bar, a long farmhouse table with benches, and a gas fireplace on a timer switch.

The guest bedroom has a log king bed, and the newly renovated guest bath has a glass walk-in shower. Out front, the covered porch has a wood-burning stone fireplace and a TV.

  3. Lower level

    Sleeps 5

A second living room with a big sectional, a stone gas fireplace, a 65-inch TV and a wet bar, plus a BirdieBall putting green and a long game table.

The bunk room has a twin-over-full log bunk and a Nintendo Switch 2. Next door, the Little Bear Cave adds a twin-over-twin bunk, and a full bath with a tub is right beside them. The door out leads to the covered hot tub deck.

Most evenings end outside

Two decks and the grounds below them, set up for slow mornings and long nights by the fire.

Also out here: cornhole by the fire pit, a POLYWOOD dining table, a gas grill on its own propane line so there are no tanks to swap, rocking chairs on the top porch, and a Bluetooth lantern speaker. Please bring your own firewood.

Five minutes to town from the bottom of the mountain

Aska Overlook sits in Blue Ridge's Aska area, between Lake Blue Ridge and the Toccoa River. Downtown, with its shops, restaurants and the scenic railway, is about five minutes away once you're down the mountain, and the lake is even closer.

  • Lake Blue Ridge for boating, paddleboarding and swimming
  • The Aska Trails for hiking and mountain biking
  • The Toccoa River for tubing and trout fishing
  • National forest across the road, so the only neighbors on that side are trees
